Congratulations to Irish Wolfhound Boánn

March 21, 2024

Congratulations Boánn!
‎ ‎ ‎
The redesign of the Irish passport will feature an Irish Wolfhound. Following a public consultation last year the Irish Wolfhound was chosen after an unprecedented number of people voted for their favourite plants and animals.
The Wolfhound chosen was Boánn bred by the late Gerry Clarke and his wife Pauline. The IKC were very proud to make a small presentation to Gerry & Pauline’s daughter, Jane and to the owners of Boánn, John & Mary Potter at the IKC St. Patricks Show last weekend.
Well done Boánn from all at the IKC.
